ABOUT HOLIUS
Holius is a non-profit association focused on adult education, ethical well-being practices, and sustainable community development in local and European contexts.
MISSION & HISTORY
Holius is a women-led organization dedicated to promoting wellness and well-being through education, ethical practices, and environmental sustainability. We design and support educational initiatives that empower individuals and communities to make informed and responsible choices.
We envision a world where access to well-being education and opportunities is inclusive, ethical, and connected to social and environmental responsibility.
Holius originated in 2023 as a collaborative initiative bringing together well-being practitioners interested in ethical practices, education, and community engagement.
During its initial phase, the initiative explored and tested different collaborative and educational models through exchanges, pilot activities, and community-based experiences. Building on these learnings, Holius was formally established as a non-profit association to focus on structured adult education, ethical frameworks, and international cooperation projects.
CURRENT
CHALLENGES
> Fragmentation of practices
Well-being knowledge is often scattered, inconsistently regulated, and difficult to assess across individual, organisational, and community contexts.
> Rising burnout and unequal access to education
Many adults (particularly within workplaces, care roles, and community organisations) lack access to structured, affordable, and inclusive learning opportunities that support well-being, resilience, and prevention of burnout.
> Disconnection from sustainability and collective responsibility
Well-being is frequently addressed in isolation from environmental, social, and organisational realities, limiting its long-term impact.
Holius was created in response to these challenges, positioning education as a key lever for informed, ethical, and collective well-being.
PARTNERS
We work in collaboration with local and European partners who contribute expertise and support the development and delivery of our educational and community-based activities.
